Analytical Quality Scientist at Cmbio
Join Cmbio and Strengthen Analytical Quality for Microbiome and Metabolomics Research
For our laboratory located in Vedbæk, Denmark, we are seeking a Quality Control and Compliance Specialist with a strong background in analytical quality control and regulatory compliance to help strengthen and structure our quality processes. This role will be key in bridging the gap between operational practice and QA system requirements and will evolve as our regulated services expand. You will be part of a top-ranking metabolomics team with highly skilled colleagues in Denmark and the US.
Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and quality control documentation for laboratory workflows.

Support instrument qualification and method validation for targeted analytical techniques (e.g., LC-MS, GC-MS, ELISA).

Facilitate alignment between laboratory operations and QA/regulatory expectations.

Assist in preparing analytical procedures and records for regulated study environments.

Participate in developing validation frameworks for untargeted metabolomics methods.

Support continuous improvement in analytical reproducibility, standardization, and traceability.
Required Qualifications

Education in analytical chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline.

Experience in quality control or regulated (GxP/ISO) laboratory environments.

Hands-on experience with chromatography and mass spectrometry in small molecule or biomarker analysis.

Strong understanding of analytical validation and qualification principles.

Full professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
Preferred Experience

Demonstrated experience in instrument qualification and method validation projects.

Experience with automated or standardized laboratory workflows.

Participation in regulated studies or preparation of regulatory documentation.

Familiarity with data integrity and electronic recordkeeping principles.
