Combining world-class multi-omics laboratory- and data science capabilities with advanced computational science (bioinformatics, software, machine learning, AI), we transform biological complexity into actionable insights that accelerate innovation across human, animal and planetary health.

About the role

Are you a structured and service-minded student looking to gain hands-on experience across different areas of B2B marketing targeting consumer health, pharma- and bioscience companies?

Join Cmbio as a Marketing Coordinator Student Assistant and become part of a fast-growing, international science and technology company working at the forefront of multi-omics data science in the era of digital biology.

In this role, you will support day-to-day marketing operations, help coordinate marketing events/campaigns and content/toolbox, working closely with colleagues across Denmark, the US, and other sites in Europe and Asia Pacific.

What you will do

You will support the marketing team across a range of operational and coordination tasks — from conference planning to content management — helping us show up professionally and consistently in the market. The role spans a broad set of responsibilities and stakeholders, so no two weeks look exactly alike.

Your day-to-day will include:

  • Planning and coordinating conference participations end-to-end, including booth logistics, shipping of materials, roll-ups, and attendee lists.
  • Maintaining and updating our global slide hub, ensuring all content reflects our current visual identity and remains easy to navigate for colleagues worldwide.
  • Supporting the coordination and execution of LinkedIn content and email marketing campaigns through HubSpot.
  • Supporting the creation, organization, and maintenance of marketing toolbox materials for different regions and teams.
  • Collaborating with colleagues across our global organization — from Denmark to the US — supporting them with marketing materials and ad hoc requests.

This role comes with real responsibility from day one. We will provide the guidance and context you need to succeed, and we expect you to grow into the role over time.

The position is approximately 15 hours per week, with flexibility to fit around your studies.

What we are looking for
  • Currently enrolled in a relevant Bsc/Msc programme, such as Marketing, Innovation, Business Administration at Copenhagen Business School or equivalent.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
  • A structured approach to work, with a natural ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Power Point and Excell) and a comfort with using data to create clarity and drive decisions.

Nice to have:

  • Basic knowledge of Canva, HubSpot, SharePoint, Monday and Figma is an advantage.
You will thrive in this role if you
  • Stay on top of multiple workstreams without losing sight of the details.
  • Build relationships with ease, across teams, time zones, and seniority levels.
  • Take initiative and follow through without needing to be reminded.
  • Have a service mindset and genuinely enjoy supporting others to succeed.
  • Are curious about how science-driven companies communicate globally, and eager to learn on the job.

  • A high-impact role with real ownership and meaningful tasks from day one.
